This light weight combined with changes in geometry allows for lighter trigger pull weights. All of these benefits have made GM hammer the most widely used 1911 hammer in competition today.
The hammer is CNC machined from tool steel and heat treated to hold your trigger job longer. Engagement surfaces are all precision machined and pre-polished. This part should be installed by a competent gunsmith. This hammer fits 1911/2011 style pistols.
