ZR8 Red Dot Sight 8 MOA – Compact Reflex Optic for Sport Shooting
The ZR8 red dot sight is a high performance reflex optic designed to deliver fast target acquisition and improved shooting control in sport and dynamic shooting. Its compact size and durable construction make it suitable for pistols, rifles and carbines.
Equipped with a 8 MOA red dot, the optic offers an excellent balance between speed and precision, making it ideal for rapid shooting disciplines where quick target acquisition is essential.
The large viewing window provides a wide and clear sight picture, while the anti reflection coated lens with 1x zoom ensures natural target visibility. With 10 adjustable illumination levels, the brightness of the red dot can be easily adapted to different lighting conditions.
Built for demanding use, the ZR8 is shockproof up to 1000G and waterproof up to 2 meters. The sight offers precise adjustment with a maximum elevation range of 120 MOA and windage adjustment up to 70 MOA.
The optic is powered by a CR2032 battery, included in the package.

3. What is MOA and How to Calculate It
MOA (Minute of Angle) is 1/60th of an angular degree. It measures the physical area covered by the red dot on a target at various distances.
Calculation: A full circle (360°) contains 21,600 minutes of angle. 1 MOA is calculated by taking the circumference at target distance (2 x Pi x Distance) and dividing it by 21,600.
At 100 meters, 1 MOA equals approximately 2.9 cm (1.14 inches at 100 yards).
Red Dot Target Coverage at 100 meters:
- 2 MOA: Covers approx. 5.8 cm (maximum precision for long-range targets).
- 3 / 4 MOA: Cover approx. 8.7 cm and 11.6 cm respectively (precision and general shooting).
- 6 MOA: Covers approx. 17.4 cm (balanced speed and precision).
- 8 / 9 / 10 MOA: Cover approx. 23.2 cm, 26.1 cm, and 29 cm respectively (maximum speed at close range and dynamic shooting).
