The Toni System aluminum magwell is a high-performance upgrade specifically designed for the Springfield Armory Prodigy 1911 DS. Precision-machined from lightweight aluminum, it delivers outstanding strength, durability and reliability for intensive competition use.
The primary function of the magwell is to widen and funnel the magazine well opening, making magazine insertion faster and more intuitive during high-speed reloads. This significantly reduces reload times while minimizing the risk of misalignment under competitive pressure.
With an overall width of 44.50 mm, the magwell has been engineered to comply with the dimensional limits required for the IPSC Standard Division, allowing shooters to maximize performance while remaining competition legal.
The magwell is designed to work exclusively with the dedicated Toni System extended base pads: PAD1SPPR for IPSC Standard Division and PAD141SPPR for IPSC Optics Division. Using these dedicated base pads ensures proper fit, reliable operation and maximum reloading efficiency.
