Built using Mec-Gar’s proprietary all-metal housing constructed from heat-treated carbon steel, this magazine bypasses standard polymer-encased designs. The housing features Mec-Gar’s signature Anti-Friction Coating, which eliminates surface drag inside the magazine well to ensure lightning-fast drop-free ejection while providing superior defense against rust, perspiration, and carbon buildup.
Cartridge presentation is controlled by a high-impact, high-visibility green polymer follower, providing fast visual confirmation of an empty chamber through the ejection port. Continuous upward pressure is provided by a heavy-duty high-tensile strength music wire spring engineered to withstand repeated full-capacity cycles. Importantly, this magazine **does not require replacing your factory original OEM magazine catch**.
