The Mec-Gar extended 18-round 9mm (9x19mm / 9x21mm) magazine for the Glock 19 is a high-performance upgrade designed to increase round capacity and grip control on the compact Glock platform.
Moving away from traditional polymer-over-molded designs, this magazine features Mec-Gar’s proprietary all-metal housing made of heat-treated carbon steel. Coated with a specialized Anti-Friction finish, it eliminates surface drag inside the magazine well to ensure rapid drop-free ejection while delivering robust protection against humidity, sweat, and corrosion.
Cartridge feeding is controlled by a high-impact, high-visibility green polymer follower, providing fast visual confirmation of empty status through the ejection port. Smooth indexing is powered by a heavy-duty high-tensile strength music wire spring designed to resist compression fatigue. Importantly, this magazine does not require replacing your factory original OEM magazine catch.
The base features an extended high-impact polymer basepad with a contoured wrap-around design. It seamlessly extends the compact grip geometry of the Glock 19 downward, providing extra pinky support and improving overall recoil control during rapid engagement sequences.
